Monty will share his journey from a small town to the heights of Music Row, recounting how patience, persistence, laughter, and overcoming adversity played pivotal roles in his success. He will perform hits written for artists like George Strait, Trace Adkins, Eric Church, and Scotty McCreery, and narrate the stories behind these songs.

Monty’s story is also one of remarkable resilience. In 2023, he faced stage 3 colon cancer, underwent extensive treatment, and emerged with a full cure and incredible prognosis. Despite these challenges, Monty continued to create music, with seventeen songs recorded and two number ones during that year. His story is both life-affirming and life-changing, filled with grace, courage, and an unbelievable dose of humor.

All proceeds from this concert will go directly back to the St. Paul's Fine Arts Program, supporting the next generation of artists and musicians. Monty credits his education at St. Paul’s as the foundation of his successful career and is excited to give back to the community that shaped him.
